Paint

The boot stripe is coming along nicely. Today I was able to sand the primer, tape and get one coat of paint applied. I am using the roll and tip method so I have to wait to recoat. I took these pictures literally right after tipping so the paint hasn’t had a chance to smooth out but it looks pretty good so far.

At least the stripe is a bit more uniform:

I wish I had used the roll-tip method on the topsides, the shine would have burned your retinas. Reflection of the rudder in the stripe:

Tomorrow I will sand this and apply another coat of paint, IF the weather cooperates. I have bottom paint and a few other things due in by mid week and that should get us ready to launch. Very exciting.
