Heading South

Posted by on February 24, 2013

We are just outside of Little Harbour and have decided to try and make a run for Eleuthera early tomorrow morning. There is a small weather window and it’s the only window for the foreseeable future. We will give it a try and if it’s too rough we will turn back.

We will update with pictures from the last few days when we get to our next destination, either south or back north.

Water temp is 77! We all went fishing the other day and came up with a couple of monster lobster.  Weather was overcast and very windy so we tucked the dinghies in a protected area and swam out a few hundred yards. It was a long swim back to the boat but it was worth it. And a very long wet ride back home that night!

mmmmm dinner….

Will catch up later. Hope everyone back home is keeping warm!

Wow, that is a beauty. You have to tell us if they taste similar to the bugs here in Maine. Enjoying the pictures so much!

They do taste similar but a bit less flavorful, much meatier than Maine lobster though.
