Approaching bad weather kept our visit to Palmerston short. The next wave of bad weather forced us to divert from our planned stop in Niue. I had been planning to stop in Niue for over a decade but it was not to be. Instead of Niue we were forced to head to Niuatoputapu Tonga in the north. We had a wonderful time there, I’ll update on that later. We arrived in Niuatoputapu the same day as the King of Tonga! There was a big celebration and show.
