Hiking

Went hiking yesterday, through a failed real estate development, looking for blow holes along the northern shore. The winds have been blowing 30+ (which is why we’re still here), so we figured the seas would be pounding the shore and putting on a good show.

We beached the dinghy on a quiet protected beach just under these steps:

Walked up past this tree to an old dirt road:

Through this unmanned gate:

We walked down a couple of these paths which led to the shore:

Each lot had its own sea side deck:

Walking further up the road we found some caves:

The seas were up and we did find a couple of blow holes, some with rushing air and lots of noise, others spouting water:

…also found these randomly placed golf platforms, I guess to practice driving golf balls into the Caribbean sea…
