Solar and Head

…are done (for the trip North). The solar installation was a bear but we learned alot. Actually wiring the panels all the way down to the batteries was the easy part. Mounting the panels and getting them up on the davits was the challenge.

Everything works as advertised! After everything was wired we uncovered the panels for the first time, just before noon on a very cloudy and hazy day.

We also finished up the holding tank installation, it’s not pretty but it’s in and it’s functional with no leaks! We’ll make it look pretty when we get to Maine (which seems to be a new catch phrase for us!).

We’re off to get fuel this morning, weather permitting we will depart tomorrow! Lots of little things to take care of today…
